About us
Our academy is a cooperation partner of Sudo Kukje Theological Seminary in Seoul (South Korea), which is very famous and well-known especially in the field of training Protestant Reformation pastors, and which attaches great importance to the study of Protestant Reformation theology and the adoption of Westmister's Creed as the basis of faith, and especially the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ. Its motto is, "Congregations need pastors, evangelists, and missionaries who are able to proclaim God's Word faithfully and convincingly."
Our training academy is currently part of The Light of Gospel Church in Potsdam, which focuses on shining the light of the gospel to all people, healing people with the power of the gospel, and spreading the kingdom of God by spreading the gospel in a pluralistic society.
Our dream is to be a Christ-centered academy, indeed a place where people are trained in evangelical reformation, capable of proclaiming the Gospel faithfully, truthfully and convincingly. We want to be an educational institution that holds to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Word of God in the Bible and expresses the infinite grace and love of God in Jesus Christ.
Our seminary professes in doctrine and order the whole, unadulterated Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, the only true and infallible Word of God, as it has been newly opened up by the Reformation. It is committed to the confessions of the Reformation, especially the Heidelberg Catechism and the three early church confessions (Apostolic, Athanasian and Nicene).
Our Mission Statement
As a theological training school, we are dedicated to training pastors, missionaries, elders and pastoral caregivers, and other church workers for their ministries. This mission statement is based on God's Word in 2 Timothy 3:16-17:
"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be completely prepared, fully equipped for every good work." (Schalchter 2000)
